It's nearing its end-I want to use the remaining weeks of my summer vacation as efficiently as possible-so I humbly ask the advanced learners here of this subreddit for techniques that would help me get out of this rut, thanks in advance.ġ. Stopping Anki probably played a big part in regard to my plateau, but, for now anyway I'm trying to steer off it until school starts up back again, as it really crushed my soul in the first month of my learning. Maybe I just didn't try hard enough, or perhaps it's just my level of Japanese idk, but from what I could tell, at least in my current level-which is around N3 I think at about 8-11 thousand characters an hour, staying nearly like that for two and a half weeks now with only very small incremental increases, it was a 10% percent benefit at best. I've tried looking into the usual speed reading practices, like looking at words in chunks and stopping sub-vocalization, but I've found they didn't provide game-changing benefits like "300% faster speed".

Edit: Basically what I'm trying to say is "Is there a much more efficient way to do this/make the process more efficient-other than just brute-forcing more hours".
